INTRO:  Hey you guys out there in the blogging world, this here is Amanda (I sound country there lol) this is my second Crochet Tutorial!! So if you have problems following it, I’m sorry and you can contact me with questions by commenting below. And if you manage to make a Sun, please send me a picture!!! Also, I am making this pattern assuming that you already know how to crochet, so please don’t ask me what a magic loop is. Google it. The entire thing is worked in single crochet.

Round 1: magic loop, crochet 6
Round 2: increase in every stitch
Round 3-?: crochet 2, increase 1 and repeat across the round.

MAKE TWO OF THESE

Attach teddy bear eyes to one circle and embroider a mouth beneath it with black yarn, then
Single crochet seam the two pieces together, stopping about two inches from closing it up to stuff it.
Count the stitches in your single crochet seam. You need to make this number of yarn pieces in EACH of the three colors (I had 31 stitches)
Now you will be cutting yarn pieces for your rays of light coming away from the sun. you want to cut them about a centimeter longer then twice the length of the rays. So decide your length, then cut X amount of strings that length (X being you number of stitches, for me that was 31)
Grab one strand of each color, fold it in half then use an extra large Crochet hook to pull a loop through a stitch in your seam then pull the loose ends through the loop and repeat until your Sun has all of its rays. Then you are finished!! YAY!!!!!!!
